Research

Dr. Saito’s current research interests focus on establishing a humanized mouse model that precisely reflects patient’s tumor and immune status including cellular immunology. Current projects include 1) transplantation of both hematopoietic stem cells and tumor into immunodeficient mice to mimick patient’s tumor and immune status. 2) Analysis on thymus development which is essential to develop cellular immunology.
